[Blog Update] Senior Year of College is Harder than I Expected

As you may have noticed I've been absent for the last month and even before then I have only been posting sporadically since August. It turns out that while my classes this semester aren't that difficult, there are a lot of other things that happen when you're getting ready for the next milestone of life, also known as graduation and post-graduation plans. All of these things combined have made for a busy semester and sadly, not a lot of reading or blogging.

But enough about me, you're here for the books and I'm back to bring all that bookish goodness you'd expect from a book blog. I have a lot of stuff planned for the next couple of weeks. Aside from the usual weekly features, I also have a bunch of reviews planned, some bookish discussion posts, and even a blog tour! Be on the lookout for those in the next couple of days and weeks.

I'm so glad to be back and hopefully this time I won't stay away for too long. Happy reading everyone!

[Blog Update] I'm Back!

First off, I want to apologize for the unexpected hiatus that occurred this past month. This post is going to get a little more personal, so if you're here solely for the books, feel free to skip this one. I was on vacation for half of August and studying for the GRE the second half. As a senior in college, I've been doing a lot of soul-searching deciding what I want to do with "the rest of my life" and I've settled on applying to various PhD programs in Materials Science and Engineering. What that boils down to is more standardized testing and going through the application process all over again. Bring on the high school flashbacks!

Basically, this is the reason I've been absent from book blogging for the last month. Until the new year rolls in and until all the applications are in, I can't promise consistency in my book blogging but I will still try my best to update this blog when I can. I will still be reading and I have quite a few books lined up for review so you can definitely look forward to that!

Thank you for still supporting me and my blog. I really appreciate every single one of my readers and when you stick with me through the thick and thin it gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. Happy reading!

I'm Back! [Blog Update]

As you may have noticed, I have been pretty absent from this blog for the past month. If you follow me on Tumblr you may know that I was busy with final projects and exams as my third year of college cam to a close. However, I'm officially on summer vacation now and I'm back home for the summer. That means that book reviews, new release features, and my other weekly and monthly features are back in business, starting tomorrow! I will be working full time this summer at an internship, but unlike school, work ends at 5 pm and once I'm home, I don't have to worry about anything book books and blogging. I have a bunch of reviews that I'm working on and review books sitting on my Nook that I'm excited to read and share my thought with you. I will also be posting a bit on books I plan to read this summer and summer reading goals. But for now, I am just glad to be back!
